Transition area opens at 7:30am along with packet pickup. Transition closes at 8:45am. Race start time is 9am. Bike Course closes at noon. The truck will drive around at that time to notify any athletes still on the course and offer a ride.
Rocko Miner, our regular musician will be performing 11am-1pm. Custom mugs with the Tri Lakes Triathlon logo are the age group awards (first place only) and overall awards. Hanteens go out to 2nd place age groupers.
More details on bands, types of food, brews, swag and awards coming soon!
Mass Start - Men leave first in one wave. Women leave in wave two. All athletes are eligible for overall winner or age group awards regardless of where they start, whether they're registerred elite, or part of a team. An overall winner is eliminated from their age group so the second finisher in that particular age group is eligible for first. Teams are scored and recognized for finish amongst teams but awards are only handed out to individual finishers and Relays. This race will serve as the Finale for the TST Series. All races listed on the home page are included in the series.
We encourage spectators to lounge on the deck of Tri Lakes Tavern, have a drink and enjoy the view. This is a great vantage point for the staging area.
PARKING: Primary parking area will be a gravel lot located at Tri Lakes Tavern. If this lot is full or you do not want to be parked on gravel, additional parking is available on North Fish Hatchery Road. Please be courteous and avoid blocking driveways, hydrants, or encroaching on others private property. Further down Hatchery Road there are natural areas without residences where you can park without hindering others. There is also a park near the end of the road that offers parking.
